Moxie's Branding Recap [+ Downloadable Style Guide]

Hey there! I wanted to take a few minutes to give you a glimpse of the girl behind the keyboard. (And more importantly, give you an awesome tool to add to your marketing toolbox. But more on that below.)

First of all, I'm so glad you're joining me here on Moxie's blog! I'm Virginia Merrill, but my friends (that means you!) call me Ginny. My formal title is "Digital Content & Social Media Strategist," although I see myself as more of a storyteller — after all, my goal is to inspire and better equip you to tell your own brand's story.

I was bitten by the marketing bug back in 2016 when I was chosen to lead the content strategy for a nonprofit rebranding project in Iceland. Once I realized that content is the bridge that connects the entire marketing experience, I was hooked.

Since then, I've been fortunate enough to strategize and storytell for a variety of B2B and B2C organizations spanning private aviation; healthcare; real estate/mortgage brokers; and digital marketing. I'm thrilled to unite all of that experience and knowledge to help you and your brand!

Over the last month, we've covered myths about branding, how to differentiate your brand, and ways to discover your brand's personality. Next, we're going to tackle email marketing and list building. But before we move on, I wanted to give you a chance to download a really great marketing asset: Our style guide template. This piece is fully customizable to your organization, and it helps narrow your focus, align your communication, and tell your brand story. Pretty powerful, huh?
